Reverend Mary Ann Coffman

Deacon

Reverend Mary Ann has served at St. David’s since being ordained a vocational deacon in 2018. Deacon Mary Ann graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Bacteriology and Public Health and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Genetic counseling. She is also a graduate of the Iona school of Formation, Seminary of the Southwest. Deacon Mary Ann has served in numerous outreach, children, and adult ministries in several Episcopal churches. She currently works part time as a consultant in Public Health Genetics. Deacon Mary Ann’s call to the diaconate is community outreach and serving those in need. She is from Peru and is bilingual. Deacon Mary Ann and her husband David have been married since 1979 and have two married daughters who live in Atlanta, Georgia and Albuquerque, New Mexico. She and David enjoy traveling to both states, especially to Georgia to see their first grandchild Rafael.
