Deacon
Reverend Pam Vetovitz has served at St. David’s since being ordained a vocational deacon in 2019 and assigned to St David’s where she had been a member since 1994. Deacon Pam has been employed as a nurse since 1979 when she first began working as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Following her graduation from Oklahoma State University with an Associate Degree in Health Science, she became a Registered Nurse. Deacon Pam was born in Pampa, Texas and has lived most of her life in Oklahoma. She is widowed and has one biological daughter, Katherine; stepdaughter Jessie; son Jimmy; six grandchildren; and several godchildren. Family is very important to Deacon Pam and she especially loves keeping up with her grandchildren and godchildren. She also graduated from the Iona School of Formation, Seminary of the Southwest. Deacon Pam identifies her call to the diaconate as tending to the sick and dying through her 21- year Hospice vocation. She also serves the homeless she encounters as she travels daily to visit patients, by providing them with financial assistance and meals.
